Once upon a time when I was cool and had this phone, I was at the cutting edge. Best story tho was when a co-worker Barrie had the same phone and it fell through the crack between the elevator and the 18th floor of 575 Market in SF and fell 18+ stories of elevator shaft into the basement. Phone was recovered and still worked. Not bad.
Now though, I've replaced it with a Blackberry Pearl mostly because they're killing off the tdma network. But I like the Pearl...seems much nicer than my wife's Motorola things...

This was what I believe was the first in a series of 'bliss' sculptures that Joan did. Some were very large. All were made of wood.

I had to think a bit for something I really flipped for. There were bands that I thought I really liked. But then again, I was naive, 14, and the late 70's were completely dominated by pillars of mediocrity like Kansas and Leo Sayer.
Then it happened.
There couldn't have been a more succinct counterpoint to Arena Rock than Cretin Hop. Suddenly, life seemed to have meaning :)

yeah...i think i'm with Sippey on this one. Except my choice of blades goes to the Dexter-Russel sani-safe 8"
But the knife needs a good cutting board, and these things are sweet!
they're woodfiber laminate cutting boards...light, rigid, won't dull the knife they're from Read . I've thought of having kitchen counter sections made from the stuff...
