I'm not much of a fiction reader.
It's not so much that I don't like fiction, it's that I'm just not really sure what rocks my boat anymore.
I did read this book 'Pillars of the Earth' a few years ago by Ken Follet, which I loved. Historical fiction taking place in 12th century England. The land where Hi Tech revolved around the gothic arch. cool. Follet released a follow-up to that book that took place in 14th century England in the same town that came out last October called 'World Without End', which I dutifully read and loved.
And more recently, I was on vacation and was bored and picked up from the 'take-a-book-leave-a-book' pile at the rental condo called 'Labyrinth' by Kate Mosse, which I thought was pretty cool too. Funny though, more historical fiction that was kind of tied to mysticism.
So, the real question I have is not to talk about my particular reading interests, but more about how do I go about finding books that I think I might like? That made me think about Pandora and if there was anything like that for books. i.e. based on books I've read and liked, these are other books that you might like.
Anyone?
